On Thursday the Panorama Panthers softball team traveled to Pleasantville High School for double header action against the Trojans. The Panthers would battle hard but unfortunately fell in both matches, 5-4 in the first and 13-7 in the second.

Multiple Panthers would still find success in both games although the Panthers would fall to the Trojans. Lexi Galvan would pitch a complete game in the first pitching for seven innings, and would hit a double in both games. In the second game, the Panthers would notice in four runs in the first inning, with RBI’s from Arilyan Steenblock and Andrea Knode.

Coach Galvan reached out for a comment on the Panthers performance after the games.

“The girls played tough and hit the ball well overall. We didn’t have some things go our way but I was very happy with the energy and resilience our girls showed last night. Proud of them for competing against a tough ranked opponent. ”

The Panthers return to action on Monday, playing host to the Woodward-Granger Hawks. First pitch of softball action is set to begin at 5:30pm.
