Geren Kenney went four for four as Perry out scores Greene County 13-6 Wednesday night in Jefferson.
As heard last night on KDLS, Mason Hayes drove in two with a first inning double as Perry took an early lead and never gave it back. The Bluejays used a three run first and four run second to pull away. A Kenney double and three Greene County errors highlighted the second. The 13 runs are the second most scored by Perry in 2025.
Kenney reached base five times with four hits and a walk. Hayes finished the night with three RBI’s.
Ian Fisher had his best outing of the season. The sophomore went five innings with six K’s, one walk, and two runs.
Gavyn Winter took the loss as the Bluejays chased him in the second.
Perry improved to 2-11 (2-6). The Bluejays have their first night off of the week tonight and will return home Friday night against West Marshall.
