The West Central Valley School Board will meet in regular session Wednesday night.

The Board will consider for approval 2025-26 fees, the second reading of a board policy for student use of electronic devices, and 2025-26 certified and classified staff employee handbooks. They will also consider for approval a teaching agreement with Buena Vista University, a therapeutic classroom agreement with Winterset, a 2025-26 service agreement with the Area Education Agency (AEA) for literary consultative services and a contract for the transfer of state funding to the AEA.

The Board will also hear survey results from SiteLogiQ, consider for approval the West Central Valley Silver Cords program, school resource officer agreement, and 2025-26 EMC/safety group renewal. The next items for consideration include a 28E agreement and resolution for a storm protection fund. The Board will then enter a closed session for superintendent evaluation, and return to open session to discuss the superintendent contract. The meeting will begin at 7pm in the district Board room at the high school.
