A week of rain has plagued Perry baseball.  The Bluejays will look to get back on the diamond tonight hosting South Hamilton at 7:30P at Progressive Field.

The two Heart of Iowa Conference foes will meet for a second time in 2025.  The Hawks won in Jewell 5-3 on June 6.  Mason Hayes struck out nine batters in five innings.  Unfortunately, the defense wasn’t up to task as three errors led to five unearned runs.  The offense was led by Owen Myers that night with three hits.  The senior also swiped three bags.  Geren Kenney was also successful on two stolen base attempts.

Perry fell in five innings on Wednesday to Nevada 6-2.  That game was called as rain and lightning arrived late in the contest.  The Hawks dropped their Wednesday game to PCM 6-2.

The Bluejays sit at 3-17 while SH is 2-12.  South Hamilton is 9th in the Heart of Iowa Conference while Perry is 7th.  The two clubs will meet tonight at Progressive Field at 7:30P
