July 14th is an important day for 4-H members in Guthrie County.

Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Rachel Muir says that the Guthrie County Static Exhibit Day is on July 14th. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what that means.

“That is where the 4-H’ers bring their photography projects, their ‘Share the Fun’ projects, their overall just static and communication based projects.”

Muir mentions that static and communication projects include welding, baking, cooking, vegetable and fruit, and much more. She adds that this is where their projects are judged, and the results of the judging are presented at the Guthrie County Fair.
