Owen Gilbert drove in four runs and scored three as Des Moines Christian picked up the 10-1 victory in Perry Monday night.

As heard last night on KDLS, the Bluejays surrendered four first inning runs in the lopsided loss.  The Lions brought the four guys in without a hit.  Perry got their lone run in the sixth as Geren Kenney scored on a wild pitch.

The Bluejays were out hit eight to six.  Owen Myers had two of the hits.

Reid Iben took the loss in two innings of work.  The righty was tagged for four runs as he walked four, gave up one hit, and struck out three.

Wins have been hard to find for Perry during the regular season.  The Bluejays enter the playoffs 3-23.

Perry travels to Ballard Friday night to open Substate action. KDLS will have the broadcast at 7P.
