Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Softball senior Aniston Tollari is soaking up each game, with the hope of taking the Tigers back to the state tournament.

Through 33 games, Tollari is second on ADM with 25 scored runs, has 29 hits, with 23 singles, 4 doubles, 1 triple, and 1 home run. She believes that the team chemistry has drastically improved from the beginning of the season, resulting in better communication on the field. Tollari shares that Head Coach Lindsay Stanford has created a positive culture leading to energetic teams that she’s been apart of. She highlights that it’s been a joyful journey up to her senior year.

“It’s been amazing. It’s so surreal (to) be apart of this program just because we’ve had a lot of success in the past years and just being able to be apart of that and like go to state. Last year was our fourth year in a row, and the atmosphere is just amazing and it means a lot. I love this team so much and I’m so excited to end on a high note for the season.”

Tollari, and her two senior teammates of Madi James and Kennedy Stanford, will try to get the Tigers back to the state tournament for the fifth consecutive year, and avenge their Class 4A Championship loss to Carlisle from last year.

ADM will be hosting either MOC-Floyd Valley or Bishop Heelan tomorrow evening at 7pm in Adel. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF, starting around 6:45pm.
