The Jefferson Public Library invites everyone to their next Author Talk program.

According to Library Director Jane Millard, the author Joseph LeValley, has written several books in lots of genres, including mystery, courtroom drama, romance, action, tragedy, along with heroes and villains. She states that LeValley spent seven years as a reporter/photographer for daily newspapers, with crimes and the criminal justice system as his primary beats.

Millard points out that in 2018, LeValley became an author and public speaker, drawing on his real-life experiences to create the narratives in his stories. She says he has published six mystery and thriller novels and is waiting on the editing process for two more. LeValley has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Drake University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Iowa.

The Author Talk with LeValley is taking place tomorrow at 6:30pm at the Jefferson Community Golf Course Clubhouse. Copies of LeValley’s books will be available for purchase and he will autograph his books after the program.
