Adel-DeSoto-Minburn now-graduated senior Josi Dufoe was recognized by a local organization for her outstanding achievements during the 2025 track and field season.

Dufoe was invited to the Adel Rotary Club’s meeting on July 9th, where she was named the Adel Rotary Club’s ADM Scholarship Foundation May Student of the Month for girls track. Individually, Dufoe raced to first place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.50 seconds and was apart of the girls shuttle hurdle relay, which captured first place and a state record time of 1:01.15. 

The Tigers won their second consecutive Class 3A State Title this year, as Dufoe will be continuing her track and field career at Drake University in Des Moines this fall, where she plans to study marketing or sports journalism.
