The Stuart City Council and Utilities Board will be holding a joint meeting tonight.

The two entities will consider for approval non-union employee wages for the 2025-26 year, then hear from Venstra and Kimm Engineer Forrest Aldrich on a certified sit plan evaluation agreement for services, erosion control in the Wambold 3rd Addition and a traffic study. The Board and Council will then consider for approval a stop light camera and review long term financing scenarios of the Wambold 3rd Addition with Northland Securities Financial Advisor Chip Schultz, along with setting a date for a public hearing on a proposal to enter a general obligation annual appropriation corporate purpose loan agreement.

The two entities will also discuss the possibility of the use of irrigation meters for new construction in town, then hear from Utility Chairman Kim Avey, on an electric pole, then discuss headhunter services and the city sports complex. The meeting will begin at 5:30pm.
