Coach Castenson reflects on Taitn Gray as an athlete, after attending the MLB Draft Party with his senior outfielder.

“I think it’s hit me but also fully hasn’t hit me like, where he’s going what he’s doing I mean we’re at the draft party and everyone was asking me kind of ‘how was it’ and I’m like ‘I don’t even know how else to describe it but just really cool’, but I’ve never seen a kid more dedicated to a team then Taitn Gray. Like, he is the ultra competitive kid for how good he is. He easily may not even played High School baseball this year and that wasn’t even, I don’t even think that crossed his mind. He is a very loyal kid, to his teammates, to coaches, so I just couldn’t be more happy for him.”

Gray has a bright future ahead as he continues to play baseball but now with the Tampa Bay Rays organization.
