Perry cross country is inching closer to their first practice on August 11. The Jayettes return Lily Myers, who is looking to qualify for State for a second straight year.
Nathan Krohn takes over to lead the girls while also being the head coach for the boys. Perry AD, Tina Lutterman, has seen Myers put in the miles over the summer as she hopes to return to Fort Dodge.
“Lily has been dedicated all summer long. I see her out in the early mornings jogging by the school and I know she’s done something with an extra running club too.”
Myers is coming off a 105th finish at State in 2024. The now junior will look to qualify again this year.
