The third show in the Meet Me in Minburn concert series is happening tonight, featuring a central-Iowa musician.

Minburn Community Betterment Group member Megan Cline tells Raccoon Valley Radio that children and adults are welcome to stop by Meek Park for an evening of food, skating, and musical entertainment. She explains that the Minburn Fire Department is sponsoring a free-will donation meal of pork loin sandwiches and hot dogs from 5:30-7pm. Following the meal, Cline outlines that people will be able to skate in front of the stage as Panora Native Kile Jackson will be performing. She invites people to bring their own wheels.

“We also encourage kids, if they want to bring a scooter, my son used to use his tricycle. We used to haul this three-wheeler and he would go around in circles and sing along to the music, so please any wheels are welcome. Minburn is a welcome place and have a good time.”

Cline adds that Jackson is taking the stage from 7-9pm and will be free of charge to everyone in attendance. She reveals that there will be one more concert on Thursday, August 14th.
