Entering her senior year at Dallas Center-Grimes High School, Leah Brauch has officially committed to continue her academic and athletic career at South Dakota Mines in Rapid City South Dakota.

Brauch, who still has one year with the Mustangs, was a key member of the Mustang girls basketball team. Helping lead the Mustangs to the state basketball tournament from the guard position, Brauch started and played in all 25 games last season, and had the second highest three point percentage shooting 36.7% from beyond the arch. Brauch ended the season recognized as 1st team all conference in the Little Hawkeye, IBCA All Region Team, and the IDCA 4A Central All-District Team.

Now in her final year at DCG, Brauch has one final season with the Mustang basketball squad before beginning her journey in South Dakota as a member of the South Dakota Mines Hardrockers.
