An established business in the Perry community recently upgraded their parking lot, and will be having a ceremonial event on Thursday.
The Perry Chamber of Commerce will be at Raccoon Valley Bank, 1202 2nd Street, to celebrate the new installation of the solar canopies that were installed in the parking lot. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti explains the organization does ribbon cutting ceremonies for new businesses, new members, a major change in ownership or facility update. She loves to see infrastructure continuing to grow in Perry.
“I think it’s important to recognize new improvements, expansions, and things like that. We will be celebrating the new solar canopies in the parking lot of the Raccoon Valley Bank. This is a project that’s been going on all summer long, and so now it’s going to be exciting to show that that’s finalized, have a presentation, what’s all in store for that, and make it official.”
Pasutti says the ribbon cutting is open to the public and is taking place on Thursday at 8:30am.
