It doesn’t count on the season record, but tonight’s 6 o’clock Greene County and Panorama football scrimmage in Panora is a step toward preparing for the Aug. 29 season season opener for the Rams in Boone vs. the Toreadors.

Head coach Caden Duncan talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the team philosophy of always getting better. “We always have that mindset and our calling card is “Pound the Stone” mentality, so we’re always chipping away at that stone. Whether it’s practice, games, walk-through, weight lifting sessions, you name it, we’re constantly pounding the stone, trying to break that stone, and getting to our ultimate goal. We pride ourselves as coaches and as a program as always continually getter better.”

The scrimmage tonight will feature all levels of players from seniors to freshmen.
