As the first day of school begins today, Monday, August 25th at Dallas Center-Grimes High School, football and volleyball kick off their seasons as well this week. All fall sports will be in action this week at Dallas Center-Grimes High School.

Mustang girls tennis kick off the week traveling to Norwalk Middle School to face off against the Warriors. On Tuesday, DCG volleyball and cross country are in action, as volleyball opens up their season at home hosting the Mustang varsity volleyball invite playing host to: Ballard, Greene County, and Valley West Des Moines. Mustang cross country travels to DMACC in Ankeny for the Jaguar Invite hosted by Ankeny Centennial. On Wednesday, the Mustang fall golf team is only sports team in action, traveling Jester Park Golf Course for the Johnston Invitational.

On Thursday, boys golf and girls tennis return to action as boys golf travels to the Legacy Golf Club in Norwalk for the Northwest Invitational while Mustang girls tennis plays host to the Indianola Indians for singles action. DCG football kick off their season on Friday traveling to Urbandale High School to face off against the J-Hawks while Mustang volleyball ends the week on Saturday traveling to Unity Christian High School in Orange City for the Unity Christian Varsity Volleyball Tournament.
