The filing period for mayor, city and school board positions for this election year has opened up.

For Guthrie Center, the mayor and two city council positions are up for election, while three city council positions are on the ballot in Panora. Bagley and Bayard both have the mayor and three council positions up for election, with the mayor and two council positions on the ballot in Casey. Jamaica also has the mayor and three council positions, while Menlo has the mayor and two council positions on the ballot, with all council positions and the seat of mayor up for election in Yale. All city positions require 10 signatures.

For school board positions, there are two up for election in the Guthrie Center School District, and three in the Panorama School District. Candidates for Guthrie Center positions will need 19 signatures, while candidates in Panorama will need 10. There are four school board positions on the ballot for West Central Valley School District, with all candidates required to collect 43 signatures.
