The AC/GC Chargers volleyball team hosted a quad match last night, and have now moved to 3-2 on the season after defeating all opponents.

Head Coach Caley Vaughan says that in the first match against the Exira-EHK Spartans, the sets were fairly back and forth, with the Chargers pulling ahead to win the first 25-19 and the second 25-14. She mentions that the team had great hits, blocks, digs and serve receive passes. In the second match, AC/GC faced off against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines. Vaughan explains that they stayed close in the first set, but ultimately ended up losing it 25-22. She adds that they made some adjustments though, and took the second set 25-13, and the third set 15-8.

The final match of the night came against the West Central Valley Wildcats. Vaughan shares that senior Camdyn Richter started the first set off with seven straight scoring opportunities, and the Chargers won 25-15, then took the second set 25-12. She mentions that the team had great energy throughout the night, and that their great communication helped with the victories. The Chargers return to action
