Perry Cross County continues the season today with a meet in Jefferson at 5:30P.  Greene County is the host school with the running taking place at Spring Lake Park.  Eight schools are scheduled to be in attendance.

Greene County meets have been all over the place the last few years.  The Jefferson Community Golf Course and the Greene County Middle School have all been used to host the competition.  Perry XC Coach, Nathan Krohn, is flying blind ahead of this event.

“They’re throwing a little curveball on us . They’re moving the course to Spring Lake Park.  Now they have had it there in the past but I’ve actually never taken a team there to run so I’m kind of looking forward to a new experience here.”

Perry knows more about their opponents at the race than the course.

“Going to be a lot of the same teams that we’ve seen already but a couple new ones.  We haven’t seen Roland-Story or Denison-Schleswig so I’m looking forward to see how we can do when we compete against teams like that as well.”

The coed meet begins at 5:30 at Spring Lake Park in Jefferson.
