It’s week three of the high school football season and the Greene County Rams play a non-district game tonight in Des Moines vs. Grand View Christian at Saydel High School. The Thunder has no home football field and that’s why the game is at Saydel.

GVC is 2-0 and the Rams are 1-1. Coach Caden Duncan’s team has had great success throwing the ball, but the running game has lagged. Junior quarterback Zach Stalder has thrown for six touchdown passes, 460 yards and just one interception in the first two games. Six different Rams have caught passes with five having at least one TD reception. Junior Brennan Jacobs has two catches this season and both are for touchdowns.
