The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Cross Country Teams ran exceptionally well on Thursday at Iowa State University in Ames, where Gilbert was the host school in a field of 20 teams.

The Tiger girls garnered 232 points for 8th place, while the boys racked up 130 points for 5th. In the girls race, sophomore Elliotte Von Roden ran 19 minutes and 50 seconds for 19th overall, then it was junior Allie Eggleston that finished 38th with a time of 20:26, and senior Addy Bjork was at 21:22 in 52nd overall. On the boys side, junior Ty Miller was inside the top-15 at 12th place with a time of 16:20, followed by senior Ty Landphair, who was 17th at 16:35; and sophomore Dain Holdmeyer was 31st at a 17:11.

ADM will next compete on Monday in the Mike Carr Invitational at the Ballard Golf and Country Club, with varsity girls running at 5:10pm and varsity boys at about 6:05pm. For the full results from the Gilbert Meet, click here.
