Earlier this summer, the Guthrie County Hospital Board of Trustees discussed purchasing the building that their clinic in Panora resides in. Chief Executive Officer Chris Stipe tells Raccoon Valley Radio why they are looking at purchasing the building.

“It’s been a great clinic and we’re really busy over there. We’re really pleased with the growth that we’ve seen in that clinic, and we know that we’re gonna be there long-term. So rather than lease the building, we would rather own the building.”

Stipe adds that it also makes it easier for them to renovate or expand the building in the future as well.
