Athletes from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School continue to perform well on the Waukee Swimming and Diving Team, as senior Emma Popp showed out at the home invitational on Saturday.

As a team, Waukee placed 5th out of eight schools with an accumulative score of 246. In the 100 Yard Backstroke, Popp swam under a minute at 59.81 to capture 5th, marked 6th place in the 200 Yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:19.72 and was apart of the 200 Yard Medley Relay with her ADM teammate Finlee Burns that notched 4th. In the diving portion, Tiger senior Eliza Schmidt garnered 2nd place with a final score of 367.50.

Popp, Burns, and Schmidt will join the rest of the Waukee Warriors tomorrow as the team travels to Summit Middle School in Johnston to face the Dragons at 5:30pm.
