The fall girls tennis season for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs comes to a close after the Mustangs feel to the Johnston Dragons on Wednesday 5-0. DCG would defeat Sioux City West 5-2 to advance to the second round of regionals but would have their season cut short by the Johnston Dragons.

The Mustangs end the season with a 2-10 record, picking up victories against Southeast Polk on August 20th, then against Sioux City West last Saturday to advance in regional play. The Mustangs were lead by juniors Ellison Laskey, Ella Swanson, Reece Hennessy, and Katelyn Daugherty.

Four seniors wrap up their careers with the Mustangs as Mya Christensen, Gracie Fuller, Paige Harvey, and Callie Weible represented Mustang girls tennis for on final time on Wednesday. Six juniors are set to return next season to help lead DCG towards success in 2026.
