A relocated business in downtown Jefferson is hosting its first-ever event to help people with investing.

Tim Heisterkamp is the owner of Journey Financial, located at 121 East Lincoln Way, and is having a seminar on Tuesday called “Tim’s Yellow Pad,” going over the basics of investing.

“Over the years, as I’ve drawn pictures on my yellow pad people would want my notes, or they wanted to take pictures of it, or they just ask if I could have the scratch paper that I was writing on. And so I just kind of thought that was interesting that people were actually comprehending everything and then they wanted to take the notes with them.”      

Heisterkamp is excited to use the new educational room that can seat 40-50 people. He adds that there are two sessions for the seminar on Tuesday, with the first one at 10am and the second one to be at 5pm.
