Mustang boys golf found success in Ottumwa on Monday placing first as a team at Cedar Creek Golf Course. Avery Van Zelderen would lead the charge for the Mustang, placing first in individual play.

The Mustangs would place first as a squad with a team score of 287 strokes. Avery Van Zelderen would finish first with a score of 68 strokes, with three other Mustangs finishing in the top ten. Gavin Drake would finish in third with a score of 70 strokes, Chase Perrin would finish in fifth with 73 strokes then Jackson Zeller in ninth with a score of 76 strokes.

Van Zelderen, Drake, Perrin and Zeller pushed the Mustangs ahead, granting the Mustangs first place in Ottumwa with a team score of 287 strokes.
