Both teams put up an incredible fight in Panora on Tuesday as the Panorama Panthers hosted local rivals the West Central Valley Wildcats in volleyball action. West Central Valley came out with the victory in the final set defeat Panorama 3-2.

West Central Valley was firing on all cylinders in the first two sets, defeating Panorama 25-15 and 25-19 due to crucial blocks from Macy Long and kills by Meleah Speichinger. Down 2-0. the Panthers bounced back, defeating the Wildcats in the next two sets 25-11 and 25-10 with great serves by Nerea Gimeno Perez and crucial blocks by Gracie Recker. In the final set, tied 4-4, Talia Williams began to lead the charge for West Central Valley with back to back aces, helping push the Wildcats towards victory defeating Panorama 15-10.

West Central Valley advances to 5-13 while Panorama falls to 4-10. The Wildcats picked up their first conference win, and tie Panorama in conference play with a record of 1-4.
