On Tuesday, the #4 Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs volleyball team played host to the #3 Pella Dutch. The Mustangs battled, picking up a victory in the second set, but fell to the Dutch 3-1.

Pella stuck first and took the lead early, defeating Dallas Center-Grimes 25-19 in the first set. The Mustangs responded in the second set, picking up a 25-17 victory with crucial kills by Gwen Farley and incredible digs by Anna Jackson. DCG continued to hang on for the next two sets but just fell short to Pella, falling 25-21 in the third set then 25-23 in the final set.

Now sitting at 19-9, the #4 ranked Mustangs prepare for action on Saturday, traveling to Urbandale High School for the Urbandale Varsity Invitational.
