A Bayard man was recently arrested on an additional felony charge for allegedly continuing to stalk an individual from Greene County.

According to court documents, on September 5th, the victim notified the Jefferson Police Department that 62-year-old Neal Schoon of Bayard allegedly tried calling her five times that day from a number she did not recognize. Two of the calls were voicemail messages left by Schoon. Court documents show that a no contact order was issued on February 4th against Schoon and was left in place until further ordered.

An arrest warrant was issued on September 10th charging Schoon with a Class C Felony for stalking-violation of protective order and five simple misdemeanors for violation of a no contact/protective order-contempt. Court documents show that Schoon was arrested at a residence in Bayard on September 29th and he was booked into the Greene County Jail.
