The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center (AC/GC) Homecoming Court was announced earlier in the week.
The 12 seniors are all very involved in the school, especially in extracurricular activities. The candidates for Homecoming Queen are Camdyn Richter, Karli Kautzky, Irelyn Wirt, Lucy Knutter, Allie DeWitt and Savannah Akers. The candidates for Homecoming King include Brexton Schneider, Carter Richter, Xander Harwood, Tommy Skram, Joe Crawford and Jack Sheeder.
Camdyn Richter tells Raccoon Valley Radio her favorite part of growing up going through AC/GC.
“I think with the community, everything is fun. We all come together. Everyone’s at each other’s sporting events. And I think that’s one of the best memories I’ve had here is we’re all one big family.”
Harwood shares some words of advice for younger students.
“Make sure you try in school and be on the good side of all the teachers. Don’t be dumb in class. Make sure you’re locked in so you can do the extracurricular activities that you want. And other than that, just have fun. You only get four years, so just enjoy it while you got it. It goes by really fast.”
The Homecoming King and Queen Coronation takes place Friday night during the halftime break of the football game.
