Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs football looks for their fifth win of the season in week six, traveling to Memorial Stadium in Waterloo to face off against the 2-3 Waterloo West Wahawks. Kick off is scheduled for 7:30pm with coverage on KDLS2.

Head coach Scott Heitland knows that there is a target on the Mustangs back, as DCG has found success throughout this season as the new team in Class 5A.

“We’re at a point now when you have the record that we do, people are going to get up for you and they’re going to want to knock you back down a little bit. With us being the new guys in the class and winning some football games like this, you know, the guys that have been there, they don’t like that. Then somebody wants to come and, you know, knock us off a little bit and you know just kind of maybe get our attention a little bit so we’re going to have to make sure that we’re prepared for that.”

Mustang football from Waterloo is set to begin at 7:30pm with coverage on KDLS2 beginning at 6:30.
