Norma Layton, Adel, was traveling on Main Street at 6th street, when she stopped at an uncontrolled intersection.  Cole Pritchard was behind Ms. Layton and was not able to stop his city vehicle in time to avoid a collision.  No injuries were reported and damage to Ms. Layton’s vehicle was estimated at $5000.  There was no damage to the city vehicle.

Kenneth Meline, West Des Moines, was driving on I80 near the 100.5 mile marker when he had a medical issue and lost control of his vehicle, hitting the cable barriers on the side of the road.  He was not injured and his vehicle had an estimated $10000 damage.

Jared Alderman, age 28, 7203 SW 16th St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.

Graham Groover, age 42, 805 28th St, West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft 2nd Degree.

Julian Serrano, age 27, 4421 Westwood Drive, West Des Moines, was arrested for Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession Of Controlled Substance.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
