The Stuart Fire Department is holding its annual French Toast Supper and Auction tonight.
Assistant Fire Chief Shane Martinson says it has been a tradition for nearly 15 years, with the auction being added seven to eight years ago. Proceeds from the event are typically used to replace outdated bunker gear, though funds can be reallocated for other urgent equipment needs.
Everyone is welcome to attend the free-will donation meal and participate in the auction. Additionally, a raffle will be held, with tickets available for purchase until the drawing. Tickets are priced at $5 for one or five for $20. Raffle items include a quarter of beef with processing, generously donated by Schneider Cattle Company and Guthrie County Quality Meats, and a Traeger Woodridge Pellet Grill, donated by Stuart Appliance. The Supper and Auction both commence at 5:30 pm.
