A memorial service for Chris Dzuris, 48, of Jefferson, will be held at 10:30 am Friday, October 10, 2025 at Gospel Open Bible Church in Jefferson, Iowa. Family will greet friends from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday October 9, 2025 at Slininger- Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson.  A private family burial will take place at Greenbrier Cemetery, Greene County, Iowa. He is survived by his wife Mindy Durlam; daughter, Kinley Dzuris; step-daughter, Mariah Durlam; step-son, Gavin Durlam; mother, Kathy (Joe) Pittman; brother, Kelly (Liesl) Dzuris; sister, Karla Dzuris (Dennis Trizila II); nieces ; nephew;  beloved boxer-baby Piper; other relatives; and friends.
