Greene County hosts Atlantic tomorrow night in a Class 3A District 6 football game at Linduska Field in Jefferson. It’s Senior Night for the Rams and both teams are 4-2 on the season, but the Trojans are 2-0 in the district. Both teams have victories over winless Perry, and Atlantic’s other District 6 win is against another team without a victory, in Creston.

The Rams are coming off a 35-0 home loss last week to Carroll High and Activities Director Dave Wright says the playoffs are still possible with a win tomorrow night. “The truth of the matter is they control their own destiny so to speak, so they started the season with a goal of making the playoffs and that’s still there. I think Coach Duncan and the staff will have our guys ready to go and hopefully our crowd will come out and continue to support these young men and we’ll have a great night.”

Friday’s game can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff at 7 o’clock.
