
West Central Valley football put up a fight on the road against the #6 Plesaantville Trojans on Friday night and came up short against the Trojans 49-7. West Central Valley falls to 2-5.
Pleasantville came out of the gates ready to play, scoring 21 points in the first half while holding West Central Valley scoreless. The Wildcats bounced back in the second half to avoid the shut out, as Roman Hammond rushed in from the ten yard line in the fourth quarter for his third rushing touchdown of the season.
Hammond and the 2-5 Wildcats look to bounce back in week eight, playing host to the #9 West Marshall Trojans on Friday. Kick off is scheduled for 7pm.
