Adel-DeSoto-Minburn junior Finlee Burns, plus seniors Emma Popp and Eliza Schmidt represented well for Waukee High School in West Des Moines at Valley High School on Tuesday for their final dual meet of the year.

Waukee, who ADM partners with for swimming and diving, beat out Valley by a final score of 102 to 84. Schmidt concluded the regular season with a second place finish for diving. Burns captured second in the 50 Yard Freestyle and second in the 500 Yard Freestyle, while Popp notched first place in the 200 Yard Individual Medley, then first in the 100 Yard Backstroke. Both Burns and Popp were apart of the champion 200 Yard Medley team, then Burns nabbed second with her teammates in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.

Waukee ends the regular season with 30 wins and now gear up for the Central Iowa Metropolitan League Conference Diving Meet at the Waukee Natatorium next Thursday, October 23rd.
