Two vehicles were involved in a collision in the early hours on Thursday in Perry.
According to the Perry Police Department’s Assistant Recorders Clerk Emily Onnen, they received a call from a resident in the 500 block of Warford Street that they heard a loud bang from inside their home around 2:30am. She explains that when officers arrived on scene, they found a 2008 black Toyota Camry upside down and a 2017 black Chevrolet Silverado Truck that was pushed towards the middle of the street, from a legally parked position on the right side of the road.
Onnen details that there was significant damage to the Toyota Camry, and officers believed that someone escaped from the vehicle on foot following the crash. She concludes that the incident is still under investigation. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
