Playoff action begins tonight for Perry volleyball. The Jayettes travel to Winterset for the Regional Quarterfinal in Class 4A Region 4 against the Huskies with first serve at 7:00 p.m.
Perry enters 7-23 and winners of five of their last eight. Winterset enters 11-21 while 2-6 in their last eight matches. This will be the first meeting since the two clubs shared the Raccoon River Conference in 2020. The Huskies have dominated the series winning the last eight chances. Tina Lutterman is looking forward to the action tonight and ready for another chance to compete.
“They’ve got a really strong outside hitter and their back row is very scrappy so we’re going to have to look for holes and try to be very competitive and just keep them off balance, play some specials and really work on our defense to make sure we’re in position.”
First serve tonight at 7 p.m. as Perry travels to Winterset for Regionals.
