
The Perry City Council met in regular session on Monday.
The council held public hearings on a Proposed Amendment to the Perry Urban Renewal Area to use for A.D.R. Axles and a proposed development agreement with the company in an amount not to exceed $900,000. The board then took action to approve the proposed amendment and the development agreement with A.D.R. Axles USA.
Other items on the agenda that were approved included a resolution to accept the Economic Development Assistance Contract between A.D.R. Axles USA Incorporated, the City of Perry, and Iowa Economic Development Authority; a resolution to set a public hearing for voluntary annexation from Semper Fi Commercial Solutions LLC on November 3rd inside the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building in Perry at 6pm, appointing Jason Olejniczak and Jim VonBehren to five year terms to the Board of Adjustments, and a reappointment of Tina Lutterman to the Perry Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for a three year term.
