Lily Myers punched her ticket to the State Championships in Fort Dodge next week after a dominating performance Wednesday at the State Qualifying Meet in Ames.  The Bluejays finished 12th as a team.

Thirteen schools attended the coed meet hosted by Gilbert with Des Moines Christian, Gilbert, and Bondurant-Farrar qualifying for the boys and Des Moines Christian, Gilbert, and Winterset for the girls.

Myers broke a school and secured 14th at the meet.  The new Jayette record is 19:35.87.

The boys were led by Edwyrd Steil in 44th and Thad Stewart 65th.

Myers will run on Friday, October 31 at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge.
