The season has come to a close for the Wildcat boys cross country team as West Central Valley placed 13th as a squad at the state qualifying meet in Pella on Thursday. The Wildcats wrapped up the meet with a team score of 363 points.

Carson Tigges led the Wildcat pack for one final time this season, finishing the race in 19:26.99 seconds. Connor Coil and Kiernan Hutton finished back to back, within less of a second of one another, with Coil finishing in 22:22.9 with Hutton behind him finishing in 22:23.19 seconds.

The cross country season officially concludes for the West Central Valley Wildcats, but the future is bright for Wildcat boys cross country as Carson Tigges prepares for his sophomore season next year.
