The #9 ranked Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs football team wrap up the regular season on the road today, traveling to Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids to face off against the Kennedy Cougars. DCG enters the battle with a 6-2 record against the 3-5 Cougars.

The Mustangs enter tonight’s contest with momentum on their side off of a two game winning streak, defeating Marshalltown and Ames in the last two weeks. The Cougars look to end the season on a high note, entering tonight’s battle with a three game losing streak. Connor Stolpe, who leads Class 5A in total and solo tackles, looks to lead the Mustang defense towards success while quarterback Chase Engel looks to find Chase Heitland downfield alongside Ozzy Grimm who looks to establish DCG’s running game early.

The Mustangs look to fully secure their play off chances tonight, as DCG wraps up the regular season on the road tonight at Kennedy Stadium. Kick off is scheduled for 7pm, with pregame coverage on KDLS2 beginning at 6pm.
