Two seniors from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Volleyball Team will be apart of tonight’s sports show on Raccoon Valley Radio.

Macy Person and Anna Holloway will be featured during tonight’s Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County PM Sports Magazine, as they touch on their high school careers in the sport of volleyball. Person and Holloway agree that making it to the state tournament their sophomore year was a highlight for them and being able to play in that atmosphere. Person is going to miss interacting with her teammates the most.

“Getting to see my friends every single day. It was great being apart of something that was bigger than myself. That’s just an amazing feeling and I’m just going to miss being apart of a team and all the girls that I grew up with.”

Holloway believes in the underclassmen that will be taking over the program, and wants them to remember to be there for one another.

“Just supporting each other. I think there’s going to be times when people are dealing with different things, either at home or at school. And it’s crucial to understand and be there for each and everybody on your team.”

The Tigers finished the 2025 season with a 23-9 overall record (7-1 inside the Raccoon River Conference), and ADM lost to Dallas Center-Grimes in the Class 4A Regional Final on October 28th. Tonight’s show will be aired on KDLS 94.3/99.7 FM and AM 1310, starting at 6pm with segments from Perry and DCG High School.
