A popular pair of fundraisers is returning just in time for the holiday season at Greene County Medical Center.
According to the Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary their annual Holiday of Lights Silent Auction is now underway in the main lobby area. The non-profit organization says there are decorated wreaths, trees and other holiday displays and some unique gift items that are up for bid. Anyone can place a bid until December 4th at 2pm. Additionally, the Auxiliary says their Annual Candy Sale takes place on December 16th, starting at 7am also in the main lobby area until all items are gone.

Auxiliary President Joyce Kurth says that there is nothing that gives their organization more gratification than to see smiles on someone’s face who has found the perfect item for their home or to give as a gift. She adds that their fundraisers are even more meaningful when they know those purchases are helping to support the patients and families that utilize services at the medical center.
The Auxiliary uses the proceeds to provide supplemental support for different services, programs and initiatives, as well as scholarships for graduating high school seniors and those who are in college.
