
The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Monday night.
The Board heard from from Compliance Officer Wes Clark, who handed out the updated nuisance log with properties he’s been working on, and added he hopes to have a new property inspector lined up by the end of the year. They also heard an update from Streets Superintendent Darin Sloss, who shared that his department had finished taking down and disposing of the north shelterhouse at Mitchell Park, that the pool and bathhouse had been winterized, and that they would be putting up the new holiday lights for the downtown area.
The Council also heard an update from City Hall, where City Clerk Kris Arrasmith shared that the new software modules were being installed, and that staff were working on gradually transferring data to the new system.
