The Guthrie Center School Board will meet in regular session Wednesday night.

The Board will begin with the abstract of votes for the 2025 School Board Election, then consider for approval a bid for the high school front stairs project, before the retiring board members adjourn. They will then open a new session, where the Board Secretary will swear in the newly elected Board members.

The Board will then elect a president and vice president, before appointing a Guthrie County Conference Board representative, Title IX/Equity Coordinator, and adopt rules and procedures for conducting Board meetings. They will also set the regular meeting date, time and place, along with naming an official publication and appoint legal counsel before adjourning the organizational meeting.

The Board will also discuss the whole grade sharing agreement, general fund financial five year projection and the Guthrie Center Elementary playground, along with upcoming dates including Thanksgiving break and the next regular Board meeting on December 17th. They will consider for approval the Grandwood Consortium agreement, the sale of bus number 12, purchase of a lawn mower, and the first reading of the 600 to 900 series of Board policies.

The meeting will begin at 7pm in the AC/GC High School media center.
