Panorama Basketball junior Nerea Perez says her teammates have a close bond.

During the 2024-25 season, Perez was second on the Panthers in points scored, with 170 behind now-senior Morgan Crees. She played in 23 games, shot 32 percent from the floor, grabbed 143 rebounds, had 88 assists, 109 steals, to go along with 8 blocks. Perez shares that coming into this year, Panorama’s Head Coach Randy Miller has been taking them through shooting drills, layups, and conditioning. She loves the game of basketball, but wants everyone to know that the squad runs much deeper than that.

“We’re a team, we’re a family and that we support each other no matter what, that we’ll be there for each other.”

Panorama won 12 games a season ago, and will look to build on that this year, with the first game happening on Tuesday in Panora versus Woodward-Granger at 6:15pm.
