The National Weather Service has updated its Winter Storm Warning information for the Raccoon Valley Radio area.

According to the National Weather Service, Greene, Dallas and Guthrie Counties remain under a Winter Storm Warning, with snowfall totals estimated between eight to 14 inches. The National Weather Service says the snow is expected to start by 3pm today, with the peak time being between 5am to noon on Saturday. The National Weather Service reports that wind chills may also be a factor, with temperatures in the single digits and dropping to below zero at times. 

The National Weather Service recommends limiting time outdoors, covering all exposed skin and bringing pets indoors when wind chills are that low.
